2 great Search Engine Marketing Strategies

Two great Search engine marketing strategies that many marketers use today are press releases and articles. In the past press releases could easily be found by community but it this days the massive amount of press releases and articles have made it more difficult to be singled out from the rest. Now it’s impossible that an article or press release would be read by everyone in online community. The key is to create an article or press release that will capture potential readers attention and will intrigue them enough to investigate it better from your website or sales page.

I will show you some tips how to make an article or press release to be singled out from the rest:

1. You have to know your target audience
We know that articles and Press releases have target audiences. We don’t write and publish press releases or articles just for ourselves; we publish them for others to get noticed for our product or service. When you are creating an article or press release always keep in mind your target audience. You would know how to communicate to your audience if you  “speak in their language”.
Knowing your target audience will enable you to write in a way as if you’re “speaking in their language.” you would know ho to communicate to your target market and in the process capture their attention. You’ll be able to include facts and information that you know would be beneficial for them and therefore will appeal to them.
2. Optimize Through Keywords
Knowing what keywords your target audience would be looking for will help you to focus on these keywords when you write your press release or article. Once you’ve found the best keyword for the article or press release, make it as a basis when writing. Optimizing through the keywords will help with your search engines ranking position as the Spiders can read the press releases and articles. If your article or press release has been honed very well with keyword related to your product, it can rank very high on the search engines.
3. Be Creative and Stand Out!
You need to do more than just write an article correctly, you need to write creatively! You need to think on how your article or press release can be of better help to the customers than the other articles or press releases. You need to give the audience a reason why they should pick your article or press release among the many thousand others.
4. Optimize On the Title
The article title counts too much in optimization. Try to use your main keyword in article or press release title also. This will help in the search engine rankings and for more visibility when the keywords are being searched. Also try to make the title interesting to hook the readers to read your press release or article.

5. Choosing the Distribution Channels
Submitting your article or press release on big PR distribution sites and article directories may not always be the best course to take. You might want to take a course wherein you know you’ll get more exposure and quality coverage in your own market. With some creativity and effort, you can find a way to stand out and reach out to his or her target audience.
